Does Palmetto State Armory Let You Know When Your Order Is Shipped?
Not sure what happened to PSA, but...
My first experiences with PSA were mid-2020, and were really positive. Practiced communication, great product, decent delivery time. No issues. Placed a couple of smaller orders over the ensuing months without issues. Fast forrard to a couple of months agone. I ordered some armament. My credit card was charged within two days of placing the society. And then nothing. For weeks I tried to find out what the status of the order was. No one would answer the telephone, nor were multiple emails responded to. I finally gave upwards and advised my credit bill of fare company to cancel the transaction. Inside hours afterwards cancelling the transaction, the particular showed shipped. Naturally, after slight shipment progress, it was rerouted back to the factory. Thinking that my timing was but off and this was a fluke, I didn't scratch PSA off the listing. A few days ago I decided to place a small order with them again. Though they let me get through the entire ordering procedure, at the finish, their site won't let me identify the order. I've tried dissimilar credit cards merely e'er get the following bulletin: "Payment authorization rejection from the processor". Not entirely sure what that means except I can't place the club. Tried over and over. Tried calling customer service - on concord forever. Tried emails - no responses. I'm washed trying.
Alert ⚠️
1st, I'd like to say I have no beefiness with the products. Its the total lack of customer service. 2 hour wait to call but to get some kid on the other end that lacks whatsoever kind of feel. Very frustrating. When I let a friend set up upwardly his account on my device, he was some how able to access my credit card and guild stuff from his own device; similar all my info got transferred to his iPad some how. They called him but not me which was actually weird. This is still non resolved. I believe its there water over there. They just don't get it. Everyware else this would cause red flags🚩, it closely resembles "Fraud" co-ordinate to other sources I've contacted. They conspicuously don't intendance what people recall as they are used to people who just don't.
Hope this helps.
I volition update this every bit time goes by.
I merely accept to add a tidbit; what do you want to bet that their ratings match their IQ scores?😁
No customer service
I have ordered from these people in the by, but in the last year the service is horrible You lot cannot get thru. No one returns your calls when you exercise. When you lot do achieve someone, they say they will call yous correct back, and exercise not. And their phone organisation cuts off calls apparently subsequently 10 # have been reached.
I wanted ii bolts and needed to know the freight. Got no where. Ordered from Tiger Rock instead.
Terrible Business
1-25-22, I ordered a scope from PSA. They took my coin through my credit card, normal.
two-04-22, shipping label was created with UPS.
2-fourteen-22, UPS doesn't have shipment. I sent a questionnaire via PSA website, no response.
2-15-22, UPS still doesn't have shipment. Some other questionnaire sent, no response. I chosen customer service (abolish order selection), on hold for 1 hr before my call was answered. I was told goose egg could be done for ten business days.
2-23-22, now has been 13 concern days since label was created and UPS still doesn't have shipment. I chosen again. Was on hold for one 60 minutes 45 minutes before my call was answered. Order was cancelled and was told my money would be refunded.
3-1-22, a credit was posted to my credit card.
The bottom line is, I gave them a "ane star" rating considering there wasn't anything lower! I'll will never fifty-fifty get to their website, let lonely do business organization with this sorry alibi for a company!
I've ordered from them a few times
I've ordered from them a few times. Their products are good. The ammo they sell is expensive compared to other outfits and they ad my states tax on height of it at check out so I guild from places that dont do that. The thing that actually bothers me most palmetto state is the fact that afterward you place your order your money is in their easily and your club just sits there for a long time I've waited up to two weeks just for my lodge to ship and to me that is pathetic and unnecessary. I don't know if information technology'south lazyness or bad management or what. They cant blame bs covid considering they had this problem earlier bs covid. It' too bad they would get 41/2 stars from me only at that place is no excuse for poor client service when they have already gotten your money. Information technology's not similar I'1000 trying to return something or asking them to practice something extra. I only desire what I paid for and it just sits there. I dont reward bad beliefs. If they want to be that manner and so they can become the bad reviews that they take earned.
DON'T BUY FROM PSA!!
This is an ongoing saga. Later on significant effort, many weeks and emails, etc., they refunded me most of the bucks for an old gun advertised as 'completely functional', but with a barrel then bent as to exist outright dangerous to shoot. Having dealt with v dissimilar employees, I don't know if they are overwhelmed (equally one employee claimed), dumb or sketchy. Simply, they become it incorrect every time! After significant complaint they agreed I could return the useless gun, but they all the same owe me bucks after specifically offer to refund my FFL fees as well. I have requested the rest of the money, and will go on to diss them on reviews and shooters' clubs blogs I vest likewise, till they pay upward. Be VERY CAREFUL contracting with Palmetto State Armory!!!!!!!!!!! Worst customer 'service' I take experienced in many tears in business.
Thought I would give them one more than effort...
Thought I would requite them ane more than effort ordered another shot gun from them from PSA in Columbia to be shipped to PSA in Greenville that was 24 days agone they took my money from my card sent me a email said guild is being processed haven't heard anything from them since tried calling them was going to abolish my lodge said wait time was going to an ane and one-half hour finally merely hung up the telephone it'due south amazing they stay in business organisation...
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Turtle shipping. No response from PSA when you enquire a question. 3rd and last time ordering from them.
Horrible Qc. Crappy customer service
So I ordered a blem chf. I knew information technology would have marks. I could care less almost marks rather build quality and long-term effectiveness of the upper. So I get information technology and the damn handguard was loose. The barrel nut was loose and the damn gas cake. All loose. So I tried tightening it down and realiythe upper was totally out of spec. Sent it in for repair later filing a case with Norton. Subsequently they sent it back. The handguard was twisted. And the gas block and barrel under the handguard leaned to the left. I emailed and leave contact us a couple times. No response. I checked with my credit card and they filed a dispute. Literally within a 24-hour interval I get back an e-mail for a return shipping label. I send it in on ups and so they say the box was empty. I used to swear by these guys. Only holy moly will I never gild and entire upper kit or total firearm from them again. No QC at all.
Disappointed with my feel so far
Disappointed with my feel and so far. I received my Dagger frame yesterday to my local FFL/range. Information technology was the first they had seen also and we nosotros're all excited to run into how it performed. Slapped on my g19 gen three Rock Slide Us slide (which had about 800-one thousand rounds though it without any failures) and went to work. The ergonomics we're great and it was performing flawlessly. The ergonomics made for incredible recoil mitigation that helped me stay on target improve then any g19 frame I've tried. Then about 100 rounds in it failed. It was hit rounds just not difficult plenty to fire anymore. The slide would no longer rack correctly on the fame. Working with the two available gun smiths we attempted to figure out if it was the frame or slide that had failed. We attempted to put a mill gen 3 g19 slide on the dagger frame. Information technology would not become on, and it wasn't obvious why. And then we attempted to put the slide on the factory gen 3 g19 frame. Same thing it would not keep, and we couldn't figure why. And so somehow both the lower and upper ended upward broke in a less then obvious way. Now in that location's no way to know what broke what or how the upper and lower could take broken each other. Information technology really may not be the dagger at all, however the upper certainly was the more battle tested component. Having the impression PSA took pride in their products I wanted to have a conversation with them near the feel (already spoke to stone slide) to see if they nosotros're aware of any compatibility issues or could help me troubleshoot the issue, and only effigy out what might have happened. I wasn't even looking to make a warranty claim I'd rather understand and fix the problem so I don't have it again, or can set up it in the hereafter. Customer service said it was my error I used an incompatible Slide, that the dagger was only made to piece of work with manufactory Glock and PSA slides, and would non function with whatsoever Glock gen 3 g19 aftermarket parts at all. Yet no where is this information advertised or explained, nor does it really make sense. Not to mention the client photo gallery for the product is full of photos showing the frame the with other later on-market slides! They also refused to allow me speak with a product specialist. I'm going to continue troubleshooting the issue and I will update this review as I go.
Rocking experience fast secure…
Rocking experience fast secure aircraft, Very easy if you are squared away and legally allowed to purchase a gun, then no problem. KEEPING AMERICA Complimentary
Bought AR10/308 lower had shipped to…
Bought AR10/308 lower had shipped to FFL, Shipping was slow brought how the lower, proceeded to put it together with the upper I had bought in an before order, and the lower broke where the front detent pivot goes. I emailed the company with photos, no response so chosen to today, was on hold for 45minutes, got a guy who clearly doesn't know anything near guns, finally, had him put on the guy he was talking to, later on existence told that about office kits don't fit PSA lower and making him understand I had a PSA parts kit, then he was like ok so we volition send you a label to render, 3-5days then one time we mail it another 7-14 days aircraft then 7-14 days OR LONGER for repair, so they send dorsum to usa 3-5 days... I hateful really information technology isn't worth information technology. At 1st the visitor was blaming the parts kit, when clearly the LOWER was what was broke, then it was AR10/308 are non mil-spec and aftermarket kits don't kit PSA lowers.. Just a JOKE AS A COMPANY.
I am a Gun Show Promoter that means I put on gun shows and I know I will be telling everyone how Crappy PSA is and the depression-quality products that they sell to the public
Read the BBB complaints, enough said
This company could literally not go a gun delivered to my FFL. I waited for a month and I bargain with a large FFL, waited for hours on the phone to abolish and was finally given a charge back after 3 weeks of waiting then 7 weeks with nix to show for it.
That being said about my experience, this visitor THRIVES on deceptive practices. They post simulated 5 star reviews all over the web and act like they are a rather huge distributor of guns which they aren't
The logistic concatenation of a proper name brand gun works like this: South&West, SIG, Glock, Taurus makes a batch of guns.
Take x,000 as an example. They sell this batch to one of 3 or iv distributors for less then half of the MSRP. We will utilise the distributor Sports South as an example. They buy yard to the whole run of guns for pretty cheap because they accept to put out a bunch of money and detect LGS's (gunshops) to buy these guns. They get sold 100 here and there past a distributor at a markup. The LGS gets them yet under MSRP and so marks information technology up to MSRP or college. Nigh people go to the gunshop and buy the gun.
That's how it works.
A distributor like Sports Due south will have UPS bring a trailer to move these guns perchance once every couple of weeks to a UPS hub. There are 5 of these in the USA and 12 worldwide. After arriving the shipment of guns will be broken down into smaller sorts and sent to where they take to go. The trailer may or may not say UPS on it.
If you go on PSAs forum there are a bunch of fake reviews and outright lies. "Every time I drive past the warehouse in that location are multiple UPS tractor trailers present."- COMPLETE FAKE BS. Sports South does roughly about 20 TIMES the business that Palmetto Country Armory does, UPS has streamlined their logistics and half of the stuff that goes by truck by UPS isn't in UPS trailers.
I'll use Coyote Logistics as an case. They are a 3PL (tertiary-party logistics) company that UPS bought. It works like this. You lot have a shipment that say goes to Atlanta and you booty it there. You now have an empty trailer. You log into a visitor like Coyote Logistics through an App and hopefully find a load that needs to be shipped close to where you lot either live or are picking up your next load. You pick upward the load and go on your way. It usually isn't in a UPS trailer. UPS ships 13 million parcels every day, they don't take nearly plenty UPS trailers to be able to do that.
I did some checking and PSA MIGHT become a trailer once a month just it's ordinarily all washed daily through the brown trucks that you see everyday.
To sum this up: Do you know why y'all don't go your gun or anything else in a timely fashion? Considering they don't train or care about their employees. Look PSA upwards on indeed or Glassdoor, the person that works there probably doesn't know a thing almost firearms. The person in the warehouse doesn't know a thing well-nigh firearms. They quit or are fired on a whim.
I order a $950 SIG from PSA, in four weeks they couldn't become it to my FFL so I spend an extra $22 and have it in a week after waiting for 3 weeks for a charge dorsum.
I advise that everyone who doesn't want a huge hassle go that route. Buy your firearms from someone else.
PSA is incompetent from the CEO downward to the pickers to CS. (Yes they accept some CS but they have NO IDEA of what yous are talking about.)
Avoid this identify, their simulated reviews and bad excuses.
Garbage business organisation. Steer clear!!
Unfortunately, I heard PSA was a good company to deal with, but I didn't take a few minutes to cheque their reviews BEFORE buying. FORTUNATELY, I only ordered a pocket-sized batch of ammunition, as a examination to see how quickly they send - before buying anything additional, like firearms and bulk ammo. Needless to say, I'g glad that's all I ordered, because, after nearly ii weeks, the "in stock" ammo lodge is Yet "processing". I reached out to them via email, but as countless others have complained, I received zero response, despite reaching out to them now twice. It'due south clear that they honestly don't give a crap how desperately they expect from countless negative reviews, every bit they've made zero attempt to correct any of it. Instead, they proceed on, business concern as usual. I honestly don't see this disaster of a company remaining in business organisation much longer. Yous're not going to want a large, expensive society with them when they finally go belly up. Do yourself a favor and don't just walk away from PSA - RUN!!!
Non as advertised
They had a firearm listed as including 2 magazines and a carry handle. when received it was not included and they said they will not honor their website because they practice not make the firearms. Aweful, a real rip off
Run far and fast ! Horrible customer service.
Here's a recap of my 1st and Final experience with Palmetto State Armory. Shortly later on the new year, I placed an online gild for an expensive competition target pistol. Their online production description conspicuously INCLUDED two (two) eight circular magazines….the usual offering for any Sig Sauer pistol sold from a reputable manufacturer/ firearms dealer. My credit card was immediately charged for the total amount inclusive of all applicable taxes upon placing the online order.
It was delivered to my NJ authorized firearms dealer/ store approximately 2 weeks later on. Unfortunately, when the pistol arrived, information technology was missing the magazines. None…nada…zip! What good is the firearm without the magazines? Absolutely useless unless you demand an expensive paperweight!
I immediately attempted to contact Palmetto State Armory past electronic mail linked thru their website and by phone. Well, Good Luck !! Even harder, try to go an actual human to talk to. Days went by and not even an automated reply acknowledging receipt of my due east-mail. Telephone customer service was non-real.
I once more attempted to reach them by telephone the following week and an automated message said the "await fourth dimension" is approximately 30 mins. Yeah….sure…..after an hour on hold, I was finally able to speak with a visitor representative and explained the event. What I considered an honest mistake/ omission could be easily rectified but afterwards a lengthy and fruitless discussion, no resolution was proposed. Palmetto neither agreed to ship the magazines that were supposed to be supplied with the firearm nor offered a credit for the cost of two magazines.
Instead, the Palmetto representative absurdly attempted to say the magazines might not have shipped with the pistol because….go this… it was a single order and there were 2 eight circular magazines in the box, that constitutes sixteen rounds which exceed the New Bailiwick of jersey 10 round magazine legal limit. You've got to be kidding me! Despite the obvious insult to my intelligence, I attempted to explicate how utterly silly their rationalization of the missing magazines was. I asked to speak with someone in management capable of independent thought. Alas…no such luck! Instead, I was abruptly told "volition forwards to shipping"…..whatever that means every bit they conspicuously weren't sending me the magazines. Lesser line - no resolution! In frustration, I then bought the 2 magazines straight from Sig Sauer, which price me $55 apiece.
Just an supposition on my office, but I wouldn't exist surprised if Palmetto pulled them from my lodge and are selling them separately. I read negative reviews on this company just they were the get-go place I saw this gun in stock so I took a leap of faith. What a jumbo mistake!! Needless to say, I volition not be doing business concern with Palmetto ever over again. Salvage yourself the aggravation and steer articulate of these abysmal morons.
PSA is a joke, Cheapo junk and a overall bad business organisation
On 1/6/2022 I ordered some ammo. I really don't need the ammo but for the cost of a box of ammo and $viii South&H information technology was a exam to run into if they were as bad every bit the reviews say. Roughly $35 total for the order.
The truth is I was going to buy a burglarize from them that was most 2K.(non a PSA) Given that they have all of these negative reviews plus my LGS AND FFL said exist careful with this identify, I ordered my rifle from someone else.
The lack of any ability to contact them AND the fact that that 9 business days accept passed and they are still "processing" an gild for a box of ammo is really I need to know. A company that is incapable of at least shipping a box of ammo out in ten concern days is not a company that I want to buy a 2K burglarize from. BTW the shipping fourth dimension on the still in stock ammo is iii-5 days on their website and my CC was charged immediately. It should have shipped last Thursday at the very latest.
A rifle would be 10-15 "business" days to send but forget near that. In the mean time they take spammed my Email for 9 days twice a twenty-four hours with their "Daily Deals".
I'll look for another week for the box of ammo and so call and cancel the society. Like I said it was a test and lets be serious, practice yous want to spend $2K with a company that cant throw a box of ammo into some other box and give it to UPS?
I saved myself some Real bedevilment and will never do concern with this "company". This identify is every bit bad or worse then most of the reviews say. 469 complaints with the BBB terminal yr alone.
PSA "daily deal" - Marker up the toll of a gun, wait a few days and lower it to what a local large box store sells it for. Take it sent to your FFL and pay a transfer fee which is included in the big box stores price.
I but saved you at a few weeks of hassles, whatever your FFL charges for a transfer fee and you get to inspect the gun at the big box shop and forestall possibly get a used gun that PSA insists is new but has at least 500 rounds through it.
Update: The ammo finally only showed up. I still cannot believe all of the fanboys of PSA, they actually shared a booth with Hi-Point at the 2022 SHOT SHOW. These are the Hi-Points of rifles and anyone who compares a PSA AR with a Colt should put the crack pipe down.
At that place's a reason that the military uses Colts and FN Herstels, PSA ARs shoot x"+ groups at 200 yards and Colt and FN M4s or ARs shoot 1-2" groups.
"My $1200 PSA came with a FN barrel."
Yes information technology did, considering it was was a FN reject and they sold information technology to PSA.
Likely slightly aptitude or not upward to FN standards.
I volition never exercise business with PSA again.
Purchaser
Online sales people are not knowledgeable on the products they sell. Nowhere in their policy do they state the return policy is 30 days. Customer service representatives are rude. When you phone call them they hang up on yous.
